Beginning with “Hello World!”¬†first program


“Hello World” is the first program that most inexperienced programmers learn to write in specific languages. Here is an example of how to print “Hello World!” With PHP.

Basic PHP Syntax

  • PHP scripts can be placed anywhere in the document.
  • PHP script Start with <?php and end ? >
  • The default extension for PHP files is “.php”.
  • In general, PHP files contain HTML,CSS,JS and PHP script code.

Below, we have an example of a simple PHP file, with a PHP script that uses a built-in PHP function “echo” to output the text “Hello World!” on a web page.

  echo "Hello World!";

<!DOCTYPE html>
<head><title>Hello World Print</title></head>
<h1>We are printing Hello World</h1>
    echo "Hello World!";

  echo "Hello World!";
  echo "<br/>";
  echo "PHP is so easy!";
  echo "<br/><h2>Rubbishguru</h2>";

Note: PHP statements end with a semicolon (;).
